Eligibility usually depends on your BMI and any weight-related health conditions. As a general guide, treatment may be suitable for a BMI of 30 or above, or 27 or above with a weight-related condition. A pharmacist confirms your suitability at your face-to-face assessment.

They are not suitable in pregnancy or while breastfeeding, and may not be appropriate with certain medical histories. Your pharmacist reviews your health and medicines first to make sure treatment is safe for you.

These are MHRA-licensed medicines supplied by a GPhC-registered pharmacy after an in-person suitability assessment, with monthly reviews to monitor your progress and safety. We only supply treatment when it is appropriate for you.

Yes — you can check your BMI on our site to see whether treatment may be relevant. A BMI figure is only a starting point; your pharmacist makes the final suitability decision at your appointment.

We are a private pharmacy service. We can advise on NHS routes where relevant, but treatment with us is self-funded and starts faster than typical NHS waiting times.

As a general private guide, treatment may be suitable with a BMI of 30 or above, or 27 or above if you have a weight-related health condition such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol or type 2 diabetes. Your pharmacist makes the final decision at your face-to-face assessment.
