Which weight-loss treatment is right for me?

Five quick questions about your routine — not your medical history — to see which of Mounjaro, the Wegovy injection or the new Wegovy pill fits your life best. Nothing you enter is stored or sent anywhere, and the final decision is always made face-to-face with our pharmacist.

Question 1 of 5

How do you feel about a small weekly injection?

How the three treatments differ

All three licensed options — Mounjaro, the Wegovy injection and the Wegovy pill — work on the same principle: gut-hormone signals that reduce hunger and help you feel full sooner, alongside a reduced-calorie diet and more activity. The differences that actually matter day-to-day are the routine (daily tablet vs weekly injection), food-timing rules (the pill needs an empty stomach), travel practicality, dose ceilings, and price. That's what this quiz weighs up — and what our pharmacist talks through at your face-to-face assessment in Timperley, serving Altrincham, Sale, Hale and the wider Greater Manchester area.

Quiz FAQs

No. It matches your routine and preferences to the practical differences between treatments — the clinical decision is always made at a face-to-face assessment with our GPhC-registered pharmacist, who checks your BMI, health history and medicines before anything is prescribed.

Nothing is locked in. Suitability is confirmed in person, and switching between treatments later is routine when it's planned by a pharmacist — many patients adjust course at their monthly reviews.

The licensed criteria are a BMI of 30 or above, or 27 to 30 with at least one weight-related condition such as high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes or sleep apnoea. Your BMI is measured and confirmed at your consultation.

Usually within days: book online, attend a face-to-face assessment at our Timperley pharmacy, and where treatment is clinically appropriate you can leave with your first supply the same day.
