Switch your weight-loss treatment to us
Medically reviewed by Muhammad Adnan, GPhC-registered Superintendent Pharmacist · Last updated June 2026
If you're already getting weight-loss treatment somewhere else — such as Boots, Superdrug, MedExpress or another online provider — you're welcome to move your care to us. You'll get local, face-to-face support and an in-person pharmacist review every month, instead of an online form.
Why people switch to us
- • Seen in person by a GPhC-registered pharmacist — not just a questionnaire
- • A proper face-to-face review at least once a month
- • A local point of contact in Timperley whenever you need us
How switching works
1. Book a face-to-face consultation
Come in and meet a GPhC-registered pharmacist. We'll review your health, your history and how your current treatment has been going.
2. Bring evidence of your current dose
To continue at the dose you're already on, please bring proof of it — for example a recent prescription, a pharmacy dispensing label showing the medicine and dose, or records from your current provider.
3. We confirm and continue — safely
If your evidence confirms your current dose, we can continue your treatment at that dose, with a face-to-face review every month.
4. No evidence? We start low, for your safety
If you can't provide evidence of your current dose, we'll start you at the lowest dose and build up gradually. This protects you from the risks of starting too high.
What counts as evidence of your dose?
- A recent prescription showing the medicine and dose
- A pharmacy dispensing label from your current pen or pack
- A letter or records from your current pharmacy or clinic
Why we ask for evidence
Weight-loss treatment is increased gradually for a reason: starting at too high a dose can cause significant side effects. So we'll only continue you at a higher dose when it's documented. If we can't verify it, starting low and building up is simply the safe thing to do — and it's what we'd want for our own families.
